Note from the Artist: For this Valentine's Day show in the heart of the mountains, I wanted to create something that felt both ancient and immediate. I envisioned 'The Heartwood Overture'—the idea that the rings of a tree are like grooves on a record, holding the history and sound of the land. I carved the Blue Ridge Mountains directly into the woodgrain, leading to the arena stage at the very core, a heart pulsating with light.
