Capture the magic of Billy Strings' unforgettable night at the Ionia County Fairgrounds with this stunning, fan-made tribute poster. Commemorating the August 29, 2026 show, this piece is a must-have for any dedicated fan's collection.
This artwork reimagines the fairground experience as a mystical portal. A massive prize wheel, rich with symbols from the Billy Strings universe, stands as a cosmic mandala. Each segment features iconic imagery—the stoic goat, the rooster, a glowing crystal, a pyramid temple—all rendered in an incredibly detailed, hand-hatched style that evokes classic screen prints. Behind the wheel, a forest-temple ziggurat glows under a deep purple sky, blurring the line between a rural Michigan fair and a sacred, ancient ritual.

Note from the Artist:
As a huge fan, I wanted to create a piece that felt like a Billy Strings show: grounded in Americana but reaching for something cosmic. The Ionia County Fairgrounds sparked the idea of a prize wheel, but not just any wheel. I imagined it as a wheel of fate, a mandala where each stop was a piece of the band's mythology. The goat, the chicken, the crystals—they're all tarot cards in the Billy Strings deck. The fairground ticket booth becomes a threshold, the moment before the music transports you. My goal was to capture that feeling of anticipation, of standing at the gate of a rural fair that’s about to become a portal to another dimension, all drawn with the patient, meditative linework his music inspires in me.
