Capture the electric energy of Billy Strings' performance at the Portsmouth Pavilion with this stunning, unofficial fan-made art print. This piece commemorates the July 17, 2026 show, channeling the deep, stormy history of Portsmouth, VA into a powerful visual narrative. A massive timber rattlesnake, rendered in a detailed, woodcut-inspired style, rises from swirling, contaminated waters. Its body features intricate mandala designs incorporating silhouettes of historic naval warships, a nod to the city's maritime legacy. Above, a turbulent sky cracks with industrial-style lightning. The centerpiece of the design is the subtle transformation of the snake's rattle into the tuning pegs of a banjo—a perfect metaphor for the raw, primal energy of bluegrass music. The color palette of tidewater navy, diesel tan, and verdigris green evokes the feel of old maritime charts and industrial grit. PLEASE NOTE: This is an unofficial, fan-created piece of art inspired by the music and is not affiliated with the artist or the venue.

Note from the Artist:
When I imagined Billy Strings playing in Portsmouth, I couldn't shake the city's powerful naval and industrial history. I pictured something ancient and formidable rising from those storied waters. The timber rattlesnake felt right—a creature of raw American power. I wanted to weave the region's identity into its skin, so the ironclad warships became these meditative, gear-like mandalas on its body. The real magic, for me, was connecting the snake directly to the music. Having its rattle—its own natural instrument—transform into the tuning pegs of a banjo felt like the perfect tribute to how Billy's music electrifies and transforms traditional American folk sounds. It's a blend of heavy history and hypnotic music, all under a stormy, electric sky.
