I wanted to create something that felt like a Billy Strings song sounds: fast, a little dangerous, and a whole lot of fun. The idea of a beat-up, grinning drag car that's literally powered by rock-and-roll energy just felt right. The number '33' is a nod to Billy's birth year, a detail for the true fans. The whole piece is a tribute to that moment at a show when the energy in the room feels like a thunder storm about to break — chaotic, beautiful, and totally electric. The 'Rusty's Road-Kill Café' bit is just some dark, roadside humor that I think fits the Americana vibe perfectly. This is my little love letter to the wild ride that is their music.
