The inspiration for "Velvet Weather Machine" struck me imagining the Saenger Theatre's incredible atmospheric design, but instead of merely showing a beautiful sky, I wanted to bring that magic to life! What if the theatre itself was an active generator of atmosphere? I envisioned the grand proscenium arch as a regal, gilded machine, its ornate details morphing into gears and valves. Rich crimson velvet curtains part to reveal a chamber where stars are spun like sparks and electric blue light streams through billowing clouds. It's a playful, baroque excess, designed to capture that sense of theatrical ignition and the unique, dream-like experience of a Goose show.
