My inspiration for 'Hillline Halo' came directly from the Moody Center's distinctive curved roof. I envisioned it not just as architecture, but as a symbolic landscape – a 'celestial shell' or a glowing Texas hill rising above the arena. I wanted to capture that precise moment at dusk when the building becomes a beacon, its glass facade reflecting the last rays of sunset and hinting at the electric energy waiting inside. The colors, from the warm oranges and golds to the deep blues, were chosen to evoke both the natural beauty of an Austin evening and the emotionally charged, dreamlike environments Goose often creates. The goal was to make the venue itself feel porous and alive, unified by a continuous wave of light and form, a true site-specific surrealism for their 4/24/26 show.
