When I set out to create this piece, I wanted to capture that specific feeling of a Goose show at Red Rocks – a blend of being grounded by the ancient, powerful landscape while your spirit soars with the music. The idea of a tree, a symbol of life and roots, floating impossibly in the sky felt like the perfect metaphor for that experience. I drew the striated rock formation as a direct tribute to the amphitheater's iconic geology and added the small fox as a quiet observer, a stand-in for the fans watching the magic unfold. The whole piece is about that serene, psychedelic stillness you can find in the middle of an incredible jam, a moment suspended in time.
