Immerse yourself in the kinetic energy of a live Goose performance with this stunning "Reversible Threshold" art print, commemorating their September 30, 2025 show at KEMBA Live! in Columbus, Ohio. This unique fan-made artwork is a tribute to the band's iconic aesthetic and the transformative atmosphere of their concerts.

Inspired by KEMBA Live!'s ability to shift from an intimate indoor club to an expansive outdoor amphitheater, this print features a dynamic split, mirror-stacked composition. A central, hinged 'portal' diagonally divides the scene: on the left, an intimate, industrial interior with detailed steel beams and warm wood slats evokes the venue's core; on the right, it opens to a sprawling night sky, stars, and a subtly rendered Columbus skyline, including the distinctive silhouette of the LeVeque Tower.

At the heart of this threshold is a totemic, geometric 'flight glyph' with concentric feather arcs forming a luminous halo – a direct nod to Goose's signature avian and migration themes. Two sleek goose silhouettes gracefully orbit this central portal in opposite directions, symbolizing continuous movement and the flow of sound. Radiant linework emanates, creating a familiar "Goose threshold" aura, while delicate dot fields and micro-patterns within the feathers add a captivating hand-drawn texture. The color palette—charcoal, concrete gray, warm wood tans, deep teal, and brassy amber highlights—perfectly captures the mood of transition and electrifying live music. A subtle Scioto River curve and tri-bridge motif ground the scene firmly in Columbus.

Note From the Artist

With "Reversible Threshold," I aimed to capture the essence of a Goose performance at KEMBA Live! – a dynamic interplay of intimacy and expansive energy. The central inspiration for this design came from the unique transformable nature of the venue itself, a space that seamlessly shifts between indoor club and outdoor amphitheater. This idea of a pivotal moment, a liminal space, became the core of the artwork.

The print features a split, mirror-stacked composition, anchored by a central, hinged 'portal' that slices diagonally across the layout. On the left, you'll find an evocation of an intimate, industrial interior, with detailed steel beam lattice, concrete textures, and warm wood slats. This contrasts beautifully with the right half, which opens into an expansive night sky, peppered with stars and the subtle silhouette of the Columbus skyline, including the iconic LeVeque Tower, rendered with a touch of Art-Deco elegance.

At the heart of this threshold is a totemic, geometric 'flight glyph,' rising from the hinge with concentric feather arcs forming a luminous halo. This is a direct nod to Goose's recurring avian and migration themes. Two sleek goose silhouettes orbit this portal in opposite directions, suggesting continuous movement, migration, and the flow of time and sound. Radiant linework emanates from this central point, creating that familiar Goose 'threshold' aura, while delicate dot fields and micro-patterns within the feathers add a hand-drawn texture, a detail I love to infuse.

The color palette of industrial chic meets stage glow—charcoal, concrete gray, warm wood tans, deep teal, and brassy amber highlights—is designed to enhance this feeling of transition and energy. Every element, from the subtly rendered Scioto River and tri-bridge motif placing us firmly in Columbus, to the custom 'GOOSE' typography with its Deco-inspired chamfered corners, is crafted to evoke the kinetic and transcendent mood of a live show. This piece is a celebration of that moment when a space, and sound, truly comes alive.
