Capture the electrifying energy of Goose's KEMBA Live! performance in Columbus, Ohio, on September 30, 2025, with this stunning fan-made art print, 'Scioto Light Canopy.' This unique design beautifully translates the band's cosmic undertones and the venue's distinctive indoor-to-outdoor spirit into a captivating visual experience.
About the Print:
Inspired by the vibrant pulse of Columbus and the transcendent energy of a Goose live show, this piece features a sweeping, feather-shaped light canopy that dominates the upper two-thirds, subtly shifting from structured interior truss lines into ethereal open-air beams and scattered stars. At its heart, a stylized goose emerges in striking negative space, outlined by the canopy's radiant light, with a luminous 'sun/moon' disc on its chest emitting subtle moiré rings. The gentle curve of the Scioto River below mirrors the celestial canopy, grounding the scene with the iconic Columbus skyline, including the LeVeque Tower, bathed in a mesmerizing twilight-to-neon gradient of deep indigo, electric cyan, and rich magenta. Fine stipple and halftone textures provide a tactile, hand-pulled screenprint feel, blending Art-Deco elegance, Bauhaus geometry, and contemporary gig-poster psychedelia. This print embodies the "big-night energy" – both electric and serene – designed to transport you back to that unforgettable night.

Note From the Artist:
For this unique piece celebrating Goose's performance at KEMBA Live! in Columbus, my vision was to capture the transcendent energy of their live show and the distinctive spirit of the venue. The primary inspiration for this design, which I've titled “Scioto Light Canopy,” was the incredible indoor-to-outdoor metamorphosis KEMBA Live! offers, alongside the vibrant pulse of Columbus itself.
The print features a sweeping, feather-shaped light canopy that dominates the upper two-thirds, subtly shifting from structured interior truss lines into ethereal open-air beams and scattered stars. This represents the exhilarating journey from the heart of the performance into the cool night air, where the city lights respond to the music's glow.
At the center, a stylized goose emerges, not as a solid form, but defined in striking negative space, outlined by the very beams of the canopy. This technique allows the light itself to sculpt the band's namesake. On its chest, a luminous 'sun/moon' disc emits subtle moiré rings, a cosmic undertone that integrates with the radiant light grid, embodying the unifying, expansive sound of Goose. Below, the gentle curve of the Scioto River mirrors the canopy's silhouette, creating a graceful S-flow that connects the celestial with the urban landscape. The Columbus skyline, featuring a minimalist silhouette of the iconic LeVeque Tower and a simplified bridge profile, grounds the scene, bathed in a mesmerizing twilight-to-neon gradient. This gradient shifts from deep indigo through electric cyan to rich magenta, evoking the "big-night energy" that is both electric and serene. I incorporated fine stipple and halftone textures throughout to give the print a tactile, hand-pulled screenprint feel, enhancing its depth and warmth. This blend of Art-Deco elegance for the skyline, Bauhaus geometry for the light grid, and contemporary gig-poster psychedelia creates a truly unique aesthetic designed to transport you back to that unforgettable night.
