Capture the electrifying energy of a Goose live performance with this stunning fan-made art print, "Scoreboard Halo," inspired by their September 17, 2025 show at the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin. This unique piece transports you to that cosmic hush before the first note, blending celestial wonder with the thrill of live music.

The design reimagines the Kohl Center's vast interior, with its central scoreboard transforming into a luminous, moon-like object at the heart of a dark, starry expanse. A graceful flock of geese, each bird aligned with a different lunar phase, orbits this radiant core, symbolizing the flow of time and the unfolding magic of a live set. Subtle details, like the hint of tiered seating, slender truss lines, and a warm wood-grain ring, evoke the venue's atmosphere without overpowering the band's signature cosmic aesthetic.

Rendered in a rich palette of deep matte black, ethereal ice-blue and cyan gradients, and vibrant neon coral/cardinal accents, this print offers a high-contrast visual feast. A touch of silver metallic in the truss lines adds a hint of starlight, creating an epic yet intimate mood perfect for any Goose fan's collection.

Note From the Artist:

This print, "Scoreboard Halo," began as an exploration of the unique energy found within a concert arena — that electric hush just before the music starts, when a vast space feels both cosmic and engineered. I envisioned the Kohl Center's distinctive architecture transforming into a celestial canvas, with the central scoreboard reimagined as a luminous, moon-like object.

The flock of geese, so central to the band's identity, isn't just flying; they are orbiting a radiant core, each aligned with a different phase of the moon. This symbolizes the flow of time and the unfolding of a set, a visual rhythm that echoes Goose's improvisational spirit. The subtle wood-grain ring intersecting the halo is a nod to the warmth of the Kohl Center’s interior, providing an organic counterpoint to the steel and concrete, much like how the band blends raw energy with polished soundscapes.

Technically, I layered the deep matte black with ethereal ice-blue and cyan gradients for the central glow, creating a striking contrast that feels both intimate and expansive. The neon coral/cardinal accents in the feathers and lunar phase ticks introduce a vibrant pulse, while the subtle silver metallic in the truss lines adds a hint of starlight. A spot gloss on the central halo is intended to catch the light, mimicking the brilliant flare of stage lights. This piece isn't just a concert poster; it's a moment suspended in time, capturing the band's cosmic language and the reverent atmosphere of a live performance.
