Printed on high-quality, heavy matte 18x24 poster stock, the artwork pops with a retro, screen-printed aesthetic. The design features a charismatic, winking skeleton in a boater hat, offering a bottle of 'Michigan Miracle' tonic that 'Cures All Blues!' The scene is packed with intricate details, from tiny cars and spark plugs swirling in psychedelic scrolls—a nod to the Motor City—to a ghostly ship sailing inside the bottle. The bold, saturated colors and comic-book-style line work make this a standout piece for your music room, man cave, or living room wall. It's the perfect way to commemorate a legendary show and a great gift for any fan of Johnny Blue Skies or Sturgill Simpson's incredible music.
Note from the Artist:
When I set out to design this piece, I was captivated by the idea of music as a miracle cure—a guaranteed groove that could fix any ailment. I imagined this friendly skeleton huckster, not as a menacing figure, but as a cheerful purveyor of this musical tonic. The whole design is a love letter to Detroit; I wove in little cars, spark plugs, and skeletons into the ornate scrollwork to honor the Motor City's rich history. The warm, psychedelic color palette is meant to feel like a late summer night in Michigan, buzzing with energy and the promise of a great show. It’s all about fun, good vibes, and the magic of live music.
