Note from the Artist:
When I set out to create this piece for the Johnny Blue Skies show in Nashville, I wanted to merge the world of their music with a sense of timeless, mythic Americana. The idea of a guitar as a lighthouse just felt right—a beacon guiding listeners through emotional seas. I imagined the skull keeper not as something grim, but as a cheeky guardian of the light, a nod to the band's blend of wistful lyrics and warm melodies. The sailing ships became symbols of a journey, maybe a farewell voyage, while the moths are drawn to the light and sound. It’s my tribute to a night of incredible music in Music City, crafted as a piece of art that feels like a treasured artifact.
