This original design, "Skull Moon Rising," is a piece of unofficial, fan-made art celebrating the band's rakish swagger. The composition is a masterclass in psychedelic symmetry, featuring a geometric skull-moon with a sly gold tooth at its heart. Concentric rings of vibrant blue, orange, gold, and rust pulse outwards, flanked by two coiling ribbon snakes. The entire piece is rendered in a bold, graphic style inspired by Southwestern folk art, with crisp edges and rich, saturated colors woven directly into the fabric—this is not a printed item.

*This is unofficial fan art created out of love for the music.*

Note from the Artist:
I wanted to create a piece that felt like the music sounds—hypnotic, a little sly, and full of swagger. The design started with the central skull, imagined as a desert moon rising against a midnight-blue sky. I was inspired by the bold, hard-edged geometry of traditional folk art and the vibrant energy of psychedelic rock posters. The concentric rings are like a visual echo, a pulse radiating from the music itself. The snakes add a touch of that charming, roguish attitude, and the single gold tooth is that little wink, that perfect off-kilter detail that makes you smile. This blanket is my tribute to the unique vibe of Johnny Blue Skies.
