When I listen to Johnny Blue Skies, their music feels like uncovering a box of old letters and photographs in a dusty attic. There's a deep sense of history, of stories that are both deeply personal and universally resonant. For this design, I wanted to skip the idea of a traditional concert poster and instead create an 'artifact' that felt like it came from within their songs. I imagined piecing together a visual history, using fragments of the past—old medical drawings, forgotten photos, pressed flowers, scraps of sheet music—to build a portrait of the soul of their sound. The ribcage became a cabinet of curiosities, a place to hold these fragile memories. This piece is my personal tribute to the beautiful, melancholic world their music builds.
