When I thought about Rüfüs Du Sol playing at The Gorge, I envisioned a powerful, almost spiritual experience. I wanted to create an 'altar' to their sound, built from the very instruments that shape their music—the vintage Moogs and that iconic Juno-60. It’s a shrine to the soundwave. The death's-head moth at the top represents the fleeting, transformative magic of a live show. To ground it in the venue's epic landscape, I had these wild vines, like the untamed nature of the Pacific Northwest, creeping over the precise, man-made technology, even causing it to spark and short out. It’s about that beautiful, fragile balance between the digital and the organic, the order and the chaos, which feels so central to their music.
