Note from the Artist:
As a huge fan of The Red Clay Strays, I wanted to create a piece that felt as unique and layered as their music. The inspiration struck me when thinking about the venue, Bridgestone Arena, home to Nashville's hockey team. I loved the idea of taking something routine—resurfacing the ice—and transforming it into this grand, psychedelic ceremony. The skeleton driver isn't meant to be grim; it's a timeless figure, caught in the pure joy of the moment before the show begins. I wove in architectural elements inspired by Nashville's classic and Deco buildings to ground this wild scene in the spirit of Music City. It's a collision of Southern Gothic storytelling, rock and roll energy, and Nashville pride, all cranked up to eleven.
