This poster features a wonderfully weird and friendly tree creature, arms raised in celebration under a giant, watchful eye moon. The scene is buzzing with energy, from a happy paddlewheel boat full of dancing fans on the Mississippi to a quirky entourage including a bee in a hat, a dancing bone, and a funky catfish. The artwork is rendered in a bold, cartoonish style with thick, clean lines and a saturated color palette of hot pink, yellow, and orange, reminiscent of classic hand-separated screen prints. The design is packed with delightful details, from the psychedelic scrollwork to the subtle halftone textures, all set against the iconic Memphis skyline. This full-bleed print is perfect for framing and will be a standout piece of wall art in any music room, dorm, or office.
Note from the Artist:
When I set out to create this piece for the Widespread Panic show in Memphis, I wanted to capture the city's unique energy and the band's free-spirited, eclectic sound. I imagined a giant, friendly spirit of the Mississippi River rising up to join the party—our gnarled, grinning tree creature. It’s meant to embody the roots of the music and the wild, joyful energy of the crowd. The riverboat full of happy folks, the little bee, the dancing bone… they're all part of the weird and wonderful family you find at a Panic show. I wanted every inch of the poster to feel alive and celebratory, a snapshot of that perfect, slightly strange moment when the music hits just right on a warm Tennessee night.
